DAY 1; Welcome to Tanzania East Africa’s largest country.

Arrive mid-day or evening into Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be met and transferred to Mt. Village Lodge. It is placed on a working coffee plantation with views of Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro.

This accommodation site is in one of the charming stone cottages sit amidst gorgeous gardens overlooking Lake Duluti. As you wait for dinner and over night at Mt. Village Lodge.

DAYS 2/3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

 – Having taken breakfast, you will depart by road to your first private tented camp, situated along the boundary of Tarangire National Park Tanzania’s third-largest national park. The majestic baobabs that lie on this mountain are known for dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.

This park is known for its wild life, especially in the dry season. Visit the tribes staying around it that is; the Dataoga who have resisted neighboring tribes’ cultural percolation. Their persistence in the dress code is an attraction where women still wear fat treated goatskin gowns and carve their faces and bodies to beautify themselves.

Learning about their history is as charming as the views are breathtaking from the several hilltop peaks. Overnight – Luxury Private Camp (FB)

DAY 4: TO LAKE MANYARA- GIBB’S FARM

Drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. This gorgeously natured park with its luxuriant vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees takes its name from the Masai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a hedge fence to protect their cattle.

Buffalo, elephant, zebra giraffe, a large population of hippos, a variety of monkeys and a variety of antelope inhabit the park. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree.

The abundant bird life is also counted, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest bird species. After a game drive and a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro highlands and your overnight accommodation at Gibb’s Farm the outer slopes of Ngorongoro Crater and is renowned for their friendly service and excellent cuisine.

In the evening a hike is possible to the coffee plantation or to the waterfall. (FB)

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER (Camping Safari In Tanzania)

 – Also known as the “eighth wonder of the world”, the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera on earth. The floor of this collapsed volcano spreads for 102 sq. miles and the walls are 2000ft high, an absolutely poignant sight.

Some people even chose to name it the practical “Noah’s Ark”. The place has well nigh all species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the black mane lion and the endangered black rhino. The crater contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake with flamingoes, a forest and open plains.

You will be required to take a picnic lunch then descend to the crater walls spending the afternoon and evening wildlife viewing on the crater floor. You will return to your lodge in time for an eventide view on the verandah spending the two over nights at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.(FB) simply placed on the edge of the crater yielding to a panoramic view of the crater floor.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

 – Wildlife viewing on the crater floor is the main activity of this day having a short break for your picnic lunch. You will return to your lodge (Serena Lodge) for over night and meals.

DAYS 7/8/9/10: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

 – After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park with a stop en route at Olduvai Gorge. A famous archeological site where the Leakeys discovered remains of Australopithecus, Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus, bringing crucial understanding to the study of the evolution of the human species.

This is the place where she was buried. You will proceed to the “Great Serengeti”, likely the most popular wildlife sanctuary in the world. In the months of the migration, Serengeti harbors huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle with estimates of up to 1.5 million.

From December through March they concentrate at the Ndutu and Salei plains, where the calving season takes place, attracting the attention of predators like lion, cheetah, and hyena. In June and July, they move into the western corridor and in October and November, the herds can usually be found in the northern Serengeti.

The Serengeti “Kopjes”, massive boulder islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik-dik. Your meals and overnights will be at Serengeti, Olupai Luxury Private Camp or it’s like. (FB)

DAY 11: Seronera Air strip then En route to Arusha

 – Have fun in a game drive crossing the Serengeti plains en route to the Seronera Airstrip that will connect you to either Arusha for your scheduled flight or to Zanzibar for an extensional package. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be met and transferred to Mt Village Lodge.

Overnight at Mt Village and transfer to the airport the next day for the flight to Zanzibar for the Zanzibar extension or flight back home.

DAY 12: ARUSHA – ZANZIBAR

– You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar. After arrival on Zanzibar, we will do the Spice Tour on the way to Zanzibar Eco Resort Chumbe Island. You will learn about Spices and herbs Zanzibar is famous for. After we will go by motor boat to Chumbe Island, your home for the next three days.

DAY 13 & 14: BEACH HOTEL ZANZIBAR

Have fun at Chumbe Island taking part in the various recreation activities a wait. The whole of Chumbe Island is a nature reserve and you may explore its beauties either under the competent guidance of park rangers or at your leisure.

Snorkel through Tanzania’s unique shallow water Reef Sanctuary or explore the Forest Reserve and historical monuments. Go scuba diving the nigh reefs, or perhaps just allow yourself to relax the day while watching dhows and outrigger boats go by. Over night at

DAY 15; From Zanzibar to Stonetown

You will be transferred to hotel in Stonetown. In the afternoon we will do the City Tour to show you Zanzibar’s bustling markets, ancient buildings and monuments. A guided tour through Stonetown is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer.

DAY 16: ZANZIBAR – AIPORT

You will then be transferred from Zanzibar to your airport for your scheduled flight back home.
