DAY 1: Kampala City Tour

Gorilla trekking Uganda safari will satrt in Kampala City. Take a ride around the original Seven Hills town of Kampala. This tour of Uganda includes famous locations like: Kasubi tombs, Makerere university, Uganda museum, Namirembe and Rubaga cathedrals, Kibuli mosque, Namugongo matyres shrines, Bahai temple, and Mulago hospital. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana or similar.

DAY 2: Lake Mburo Tour


Departure from Kampala early in the morning. Stop for a photo opportunity at the equator. Go to the Lake Mburo National Park, the only park that encloses a lake. After lunch go for a game drive in the rolling hills and open grasslands.

The lovely landscape is a home to Impala, Waterbuck, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Klipspringers, Crested Crane, and the ellusive Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight at Luxury Mantana Tented camp/Basic Rwonyo Rest Camp.

DAY 3: Lake Bunyonyi Islands Tour

After lunch, we drive through Mbarara to western Uganda popularly known as “Uganda’s Switzerland.” Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi that is the deepest in Uganda enclosing a total of 38 islands. Take a boat ride and enjoy the beautiful scenery and see various species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp in tastefully positioned lakeshore cottages.

DAY 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After lunch, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through beautiful scenery with terraced farmland and deep valleys on the dominant landscape. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead or Mantana Tented Camp or lake kitandara tented camp (Luxury) or the like.

DAY 5: Gorilla Trekking Uganda Tour

A national parks guide will give a briefing on Gorilla trekking etiquette at the Uganda Wildlife Authority’s Buhoma Headquaters. You should carry a packed lunch and water for this activity. Gorilla trekking can take 4 to 10 hours depending on how easily the Gorilla family is located. This is the core attraction of the Uganda Tour. Dinner and overnight at the camp

DAY 6: Queen Elizabeth Tour

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. An afternoon game drive around the park’s crater area will feature elephant sightings, buffalo herds, and a number of birds. Visitors can also visit Lake Katwe where salt is mined and the Kasenyi landing site on Lake George shores. Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana safari Lodge or Institute of ecology (Basic).

DAY 7: Game Viewing at Queen Elizabeth National Park

Mweya Safari Lodge. An early start to take advantage of the cool of the morning where we game drive along designated tracks to see the herds of Buffalo, Elephant, Warthog and Lion. Return to the lodge for breakfast by 10:30 am.

After lunch, a two-hour launch excursion along the Kazinga channel provides tourists a rare opportunity to experience hippo in close proximity and a number of local park bird species. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight atMweya Safari Lodge /Jacana lodge/Hippo Camp (Luxury) Institute of ecology

DAY 8: Queen Elizabeth To Kibale Forest

Departure from Queen Elizabeth National Park through Fort Portal to Kibale Forest National Park. At lunch hours, join the Kibale forest. Prepare for a 3-4-hour Primate Walk in the forest after lunch. This park is very rich in the biodiversity of species of insect, birds, plants, and animals. Dinner and overnight at Fort Portal town.

DAY 9: Murchison Falls NP

An early breakfast and start for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Lunch en route. After arrival in Murchison falls national park, we cross the Nile River by ferry and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation and swimming after the long journey making dinner at Paraa Safari Lodge Dinner and overnight at Paraa more enjoyable.

DAY 10: Game Drive Tour

We take a game drive to the Victoria Nile Delta early in the morning in search of a variety of fauna and flora. Switch for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon three hour launch trip on the Nile to the Mighty Murchison Falls. Hippos, elephant, crocodile, waterbuck antelope, warthog, and different species of birds are readily observed from this excursion. Dinner and over night at Paraa safari Lodge.

DAY 11: Drive to the Top of The Falls.

Drive to the top of Murchison Falls after breakfast and explore the area before heading back to Kampala via Masindi for lunch. (In the morning of this day you can take an option of going for chimpanzee tracking at Pabidi in Budongo forest before driving to Kampala with lunch en route. You will either be dropped at your hotel or taken directly to airport for your flight back home.
