Before 8:00 am report to the ranger station for a brief talk by one of the rangers as well as registration; the guides will then take you to track the gorillas through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers.
When the gorillas are sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 metre of them and you will be able to sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. These giants are so powerful and can sometimes weigh up to 250kilos. A reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes, as this trek can take from half an hour to 6 hours depending on the movement of these primates. After the tracking, have your packed lunch. Return for Overnight at Mantana tented Camp /Gorilla Resort
