It was Wednesday September 20 when A group of people marked Uganda’s second celebration of the national flag.

The campaign code named Black-Yellow-Red and coordinated by the TERP group is a call to Ugandans to celebrate their nationalism, people and traditions as a country truly gifted by nature.

Key partners on board to boost the campaign are The New Vision, Rwenzori Beverages, Shell, Hotloaf Bakeries, Phenix Logistics, Club Silk, Label One Media, Hallmark Rigs and Picfare. “We will have it as an annual feature on the events calendar.

Esther Muhoro, TERP’s marketing executive of the campaign said that between now and October, they will be sensitizing people about the campaign to launch the flag.

Club Silk will have a theme night on the campaign while Singer Bebe Cool, who said it was good for artistes to celebrate national pride, will lead others in a unifying song.

All the colours in the Uganda Flag have a meaning where by Black stands for the colour that Africans have, yellow stands for sunshine and that Uganda lies in the tropical climate while red stand for the Red blood that each person has got red blood irrespective of their colour. Once this is launched, it will keep the pride of the country.
