DAY 01 - MOUNT KENYA
Drive North through the rich farmlands of coffee, pineapples
and more to the world famous Mt Kenya Safari Club. Set right
on the equator and overlooking the magnificent snow capped Mt
Kenya, the Club is a dream and work of the late actor William
Holden, severally voted as one of the finest resorts in the
world. It boasts a heated swimming pool, manicured gardens and
lawns, with strolling peacocks and storks. Optional activities
such as horseback riding, bowling, golf, tennis, nature walks
and great boutiques are available. You will be expected to arrive
in time for lunch. Your afternoon will be spent free, giving
you an opportunity to enjoy either of these activities. Evenings
(dining dress code) are '' casually elegant' – Dinner
and overnight
DAY 02 – THE GREAT RIFT
VALLEY
Leave leisurely after breakfast and drive via the Nyahururu
Water Falls (Thompson Falls – commonly known as the T-falls!)
stopping to view, and down the escarpment into the Great Rift
Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park located right on the floor
of the awe-inspiring Rift Valley. This soda lake is ridged by
picturesque hills giving a wonderful view of the whole expanse
of the lake and shores, drawing many aquatic birds along with
the countless flamingos whose flight makes a pink cloud against
blue water. Over 450 species of birds are available in this
sanctuary. Lunch at your lodge will be followed by an afternoon
game drive in this small game-filled Park returning at dusk
for dinner and overnight
DAY 03 - MAASAI MARA NATIONAL

After breakfast, continue across the floor of the Great Rift
Valley past the Maasai town of Narok to the legendary Maasai
Mara National Reserve by lunch time. For most safari participants,
this is the jewel and highlight of the safari expedition. You

Mara plains, and if traveling over the migration period, you
will experience the seasonal annual migration of wildebeests
and zebras in millions as they cross over into this ecosystem
from Serengeti (July – October). The breathtaking topography
of the region, comprising of endless expansive escarpments and
plateaus will be interesting. The park is home to the largest
populations of predators including the big cats. Witnessing
them making a' kill' is phenomenal. Enjoy an afternoon game
drive returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight

drive and a late afternoon game drive – each of approx.
